F’s mother is illiterate and at home her life involves household chores and going out into the fields to work alongside her mother. When Fgoes back to her village, she is able to notice a difference between the girls who have been given an opportunity to be educated and those who have not. From this she believes that education is what makes a difference to a woman’s confidence, given the knowledge and future prospects it enables. F feels it should not be restricted to just academic subjects, and she values the classes she receives in Women’s health which address neglected and yet very important issues like anaemia.
At the Veerni Institute, F loves to sit chatting with her friends or reading more about science, which is her favourite subject. She is an intelligent girl who does very well in her studies and while she is a child bribe, she expresses a determination to retain some level of independence by entering the workforce as a policewoman.
