Though she is a child bribe, M is fortunate to have a mother who is incredibly supportive of her education, insisting that she does not participate in housework when at home as she wants her to be able to focus on her studies. M views family support to be very important for it is what enables girls to receive an education and thus feel privileged. With education comes the feeling of self-worth that allows girls to feel more secure in themselves. M herself recognises how education has informed her own sense of confidence and this explains her desire to pursue a career in teaching.

In her spare time she enjoys reading about Indian history, which will serve her dream of teaching the subject at secondary level, thereby enabling others to grow in their feeling of security through increased knowledge.
