Despite having only been at Veerni a few weeks, D has undergone a great transformation and is fast coming out of her shell. Being the eldest girl in her family, D has a very caring side to her, which is showing itself more and more as her confidence at the Institute grows.  With an unbridled imagination, D loves sitting down to do arts and crafts. She is never one to copy from those around her, favoring instead to draw freely from her imagination, a talent that has produced some of the best pieces of artwork Veerni has ever seen from someone so young.

Though she is only ten years old, D is certain that she wants to go to college and then become an English teacher to young girls. With the impressive progress she is already exhibiting at Veerni and the top marks she has been getting in her tests at school, D is certainly on the right track to achieving her dream.
